Metropolitan Medical Services — a premiere anesthesia sales and service supplier — now offers a new anesthesia delivery and ventilation system from Spacelabs Healthcare.
Asheville, NC. June 1, 2010 — Metropolitan Medical Services of North Carolina (MMS) and Spacelabs Healthcare announced today a distributorship that provides customers in six states the opportunity to purchase new, high-quality anesthesia delivery and ventilation systems, manufactured in the U.S. The partnership allows MMS to sell the BleaseSirius anesthesia delivery system in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and to certain accounts near Asheville, North Carolina.
Spacelabs Healthcare, Inc., is a manufacturer of medical equipment for the global healthcare market, offering over 50 years of trusted clinical partnership. Their legacy began with a contract to work on the Gemini space program in 1958 with NASA. In 2006, Spacelabs Healthcare purchased Blease Medical, a UK-based company that had been manufacturing anesthesia delivery machines and ventilators for over 60 years.
